South by Southwest

#1-South by Southwest-The yearly festival/conference in Austin is becoming a social media extravaganza. Almost feel like I’m there with all the updates bout it on Twitter! (Had no idea so many of my LA tweeps were making the treck to the Lone Star State) South by Southwest is from March 9 to March 18th. Bruce Springsteen is the keynote speaker, and it includes hundreds of bands, films, comedy and lectures. Check out the video above for some Twitter gossip from SXSW.

#2-The Bachelor 2012 Finale. I don’t watch the Bachelor but apparently a lot of tweeps do. It’s been pretty much impossible to avoid hearing bout it on Twitter. So here’s what happened: Ben choose Courtney & got down on one knee & proposed in the finale. (Make sure to watch the video above to hear what some tweeps thought of his choice). There was also a controversial bonus hour “After the Rose” where we learned that it may not be happily ever after for the couple. Shocker!

#3-Steak and BJ Day-Yup another new holiday was trending on Twitter. This one no doubt was started by a dude! Coicendetally, National Condom Day & National Pi Day (math, not apple) fell on the same day! So much to celebrate.
